Another option, raise the bike so you can allow it to run in gear, start and let it run in gear and use the adjusters to center the belt as much as possible on the rear pulley, and front one if you look up the belt run with a good flashlight. Just make sure the tension is within limits when you finish. Works great for me everytime. I use and old Asian vehicle scissors jack with a flat top plate to lift all my bikes to work on them. I do the same procedure with chain drive bikes to make sure the chains and sprockets are in alignment. Max
